What is the CoLab High School Program?

The Press Start CoLab High School Program is like a collaborative workshop that helps youth changemakers build and develop an idea. Throughout the 7-week Program, high school students from across Ontario will work collaboratively with their friends and a member of

the educational community to build a creative solution for improving mental health among youth in Canada. Participants will receive helpful entrepreneurial tools and resources, support from mentors who have experience as mental health entrepreneurs, an inspiring talk from a keynote

speaker, and access to a total pool of $25,000 in grants (donated by OTIP) to make their ideas come to life.

Applications will be open from September 3 to September 27, 2024.

OTIP knows your journey in health is unique – and so is your mental health.  OTIP provides events, webinars and articles to support mental and physical wellness

OTIP’s Early Intervention program is a union supported service that provides confidential and valuable assistance to members during the early
stages of a medically-related work absence.

Starling Minds is a confidential, self-guided digital program that helps to identify the thoughts and feelings of stress, anxiety, or depression. It helps to build the knowledge, skills and tools needed to better manage personal mental health through checkups, exercises, educational videos, guided training sessions, and a peer community.

Lifeworks is now Telus Health but Members will still continue to have access to the same services, functionalities and professionals as before!

Contact Telus Health to access up to 12 hours of counselling for each school year.  Members can also access online support to book service or for immediate clinical consultation, and receive access to informative resources, assessments, toolkits and the CareNow program for specialized self health resources for anxiety, depression and stress.
