The OSSTF District 12 Toronto Teachers’ Bargaining Unit is seeking nominations for the positions of District Executive Officers At Large and Provincial Councillors for 2017/18. Please be advised that these are NOT time release positions.
The Provincial Councillor election will take place at the TTBU Council meeting on Thursday, June 15th, 2017.
The District Executive Officer-at-Large election will take place at the TTBU Council meeting on Thursday, September 28, 2017.
District Executive Officer At Large
According to the District 12 OSSTF, Toronto Day School and Continuing Education Teachers’ Bargaining Unit Constitution and Bylaws, Council shall “elect 3 District Executive Officers at large at the September meeting,” (Bylaw 2.2.1.8). Nomination forms (attached) may be faxed to (416-393-8912) or emailed to the attention of Michelle Simeunovich (msimeunovich@osstftoronto.ca) at the District Office and are due by 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 14th, 2017.
Provincial Councillors
According to the District 12 OSSTF, Toronto Day School and Continuing Education Teachers’ Bargaining Unit Constitution and Bylaws, Council shall “elect the TTBU Provincial Councillors at the June meeting for the Year,” (Bylaw 2.2.1.7). Nomination forms (attached) may be faxed to (416-393-8912) or emailed to the attention of Michelle Simeunovich (msimeunovich@osstftoronto.ca) at the District Office and are due by 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 1st, 2017.
