The OSSTF D12 Human Rights Committee is hosting an information meeting for D12 members interested in learning more about sponsorship of Syrian refugees.

Information about the sponsorship process will be provided by Lifeline Syria, whose mission is to “recruit, train and assist sponsor groups to welcome and support 1,000 Syrian refugees coming to Canada as permanent immigrants to resettle in the GTA.” Members can read more about Lifeline Syria here.

The meeting will be held on December 8, 2015, from 4:30 to 6:00PM, on the 4th floor of the D12 offices at 1482 Bathurst St. (at St. Clair).
