AMPA REGISTRATION PROCESS 2026 (T/OT)

Welcome: How to Register for AMPA 2026
Now that I have been elected, how do I register to attend AMPA 2026 as a representative/Alternate?
There are 3 steps to register:

STEP 1: Complete the Cvent Registration (Deadline: Friday, January 16, 2026)
- Access the OSSTF CVent site: Open link in new tab.
- Start Registration: Click the “REGISTER NOW” button at the top of the page. The required password is: #AMPA2026 (don’t forget the hashtag).
- Finalize: Follow the prompts to complete your registration. You will receive a confirmation email with a confirmation number.
Child Care Note: Requests for Improv child care services will close on February 2, 2026. Follow the instructions when you register for AMPA.
STEP 2: Book Your Hotel Reservation (Deadline: Monday, February 2, 2026)
- Book Online or Call:
- Click on the link here to book your room: Book your group rate for OSSTF – AMPA
- OR, call the toll-free number at 1-888-627-7175 for the reservation hotline and state that you are with the “OSSTF 2026 ANNUAL MEETING OF THE PROVINCIAL ASSEMBLY” block.
- Confirmation: Once a reservation is recorded/booked, a confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided. Keep it for your records.
STEP 3: Complete the OSSTF Toronto Information Form (Deadline: Friday, February 16, 2026)
- Information Form: Complete the information form here. You will need both confirmation numbers from the first two steps to complete this.
- Pre-AMPA Meeting: Add the pre-AMPA meeting to your calendar: Thursday, March 5, from 4:30 pm – 7:30 pm at 1482 Bathurst Street, 4th floor.
Additional AMPA Information
AMPA Meal Allowance
The District has arranged laid-on lunches for T/OT representatives and alternates (Saturday, Sunday, and Monday).
- Provincial Office Funding: The Provincial Office will send funds for breakfasts and dinners directly to registered representatives by cheque or electronic bank transfer. These funds will cover the Federation’s Allowable maximums for March 13-16.
- Alternates: All meal costs for Alternates continue to be the responsibility of the District.
- Withdrawal: If you withdraw as an AMPA representative/alternate, you are responsible for sending the meal allowance amount to your replacement.

**AMPA Representatives who register for the Equity Networking Breakfast will have $25.00 deducted from their meal allowance. AMPA Representatives who register for the President’s Dinner, $75.00 will be deducted from their meal allowance. AMPA Representatives who register for both events, a total of $100.00 will be deducted from their meal allowance.
AMPA 2026 Equity Caucuses
Equity Caucuses for AMPA 2026 will take place in-person at the hotel, Friday through Sunday.
Equity Caucuses are open to all AMPA Representatives and Alternates who identify as members of the specific caucus group. While allyship is valued, these meetings are not available to allies. While registration is not required, it is strongly preferred to support effective planning of room capacity and other event logistics.
Meeting room locations and times will be available on Cvent and posted throughout the hotel.
Childcare is not provided on Friday evening. Members participating in an Equity Caucus on Friday
evening are eligible to register for onsite childcare through Improv.

Equity Breakfast
An Equity Breakfast will take place on Sunday morning of AMPA.
- You must pre-register for this event during your Cvent registration.
- Those who register for the Equity Breakfast will have $25.00 deducted from their meal allowance payment.
- The scheduled breakfast is not available to allies.
Special Assistance/Accommodations
Representatives/Alternates requiring special assistance should email the AMPA team at ampa@osstf.ca. Arrangements will be made for any requested accommodations. Attendance Requirement
All representatives and Alternates will be required to attend in person. There is no alternative method for participation in AMPA 2026.
