Nuit Rouge – A Night of Action at Nuit Blanche

The Toronto York-Region Labour Council’s “Fund Our Schools” campaign and its Education unions allies plan to make their presence felt this weekend at Nuit Blanche, Toronto’s free, all-night art festival. The aim is to show the public that parents and educators are united behind smaller classes, more support staff, and adequate funding for public education.

Members of OSSTF, ETT, OECTA, and CUPE will be gathering at two locations, Nathan Phillips Square and the Harbourfront Centre, to hand out signs, run information tables, and inform the public about the devastating impact that Doug Ford and Paul Calandra have had on publicly funded education.

If you are interested in helping with this, contact Executive Officer Jason Kunin (jkunin@osstftoronto.ca), and wear red or purple.
