Workshop#1
OSSTF Health and Safety in your Workplace (OSSTF Health and Safety Inspectors)
Location: Northview Heights Secondary School room 107
Capacity 50 All day session 9:00 a.m.-3:15p.m.

OSSTF Toronto Teachers’ Bargaining Unit Health and Safety Inspectors will provide participants with knowledge and understanding of their rights and responsibilities under the Occupational Health and Safety Act, along with practical tools to keep themselves and their students safe in their working environment. OSSTF Inclusive Schools 101: Introduction to 2SLGBTQI+ Inclusion (EGALE)

This workshop is the perfect starting point (or refresher) for educators looking to build more inclusive schools. Participants will be introduced to foundational terms and concepts about 2SLGBTQI inclusion. From learning about the 2SLGBTQI acronym and components of identity, to understanding pronouns and best allyship practices, participants will leave with the foundational knowledge and tools they need to create more inclusive schools for 2SLGBTQI students.
