OSSTF Toronto Teacher Membership voted 91% in favour of ratifying the 2014 -2017 Tentative Agreement between OSSTF Toronto Teachers Bargaining Unit and the Toronto District School Board.

The Bargaining Team and Executive thank the Members for their support of this deal.  Our success in this first round of local bargaining under the new bi-level bargaining system is a testimony to your commitment to our collective priorities and to the belief that local bargaining continues to matter, and it could not have been achieved without your solidarity of action.

The Union is now awaiting the Board’s vote which, as we understand it, is scheduled for Monday, September 19.  Further information about implementation of the new Agreement, including details about the retroactive monetary aspects of the provincial deal, will be forthcoming once the employer side has also ratified.
