Attention all 1st and 2nd year contract & adult day school teachers:

You are invited to attend the first semester New to our Bargaining Unit Workshop on Thursday November 7, 2024 at YOUR union offices, 1482 Bathurst Street (at St. Clair), 4th floor (there’s an elevator). 200 metres from St. Clair West subway stop. If driving, there is a Green P parking garage on the south-east corner.

If you are a 1st or 2nd year contract teacher, you may use a JAM/JELI day. Please talk to your administrator on how to proceed. If you are a new Adult Day School teacher, we will release you for the day so you may attend.

Workshops include:

• Your union and you – an overview
• Your collective agreement
• NTIP from a teacher perspective
• Health and safety in the workplace

Plus, meet your Executive Officer assigned to your worksite, and meet representatives from Educators Financial Group & the Ontario Teachers’ Insurance Plan.

Lunch is included, along with plenty of swag, prizes, and information for you!

Limited enrolment, first-come, first-served. There will be a repeat session in the Spring 2025. If you previously attended a workshop last year, please let another member come.
