Where: Intersection of Bloor and Dufferin (Dufferin Station)

What: An opportunity for educators to speak to the public about the impact that the government’s cuts will have on the schools, students, and communities in this province. We will have petitions, flyers, and banners. Sky-rocketting class sizes and mandatory e-learning are not examples of putting students first.

The Conservatives plan to cut $1.4 Billion from education. They have announced significant class size increases for Grade 4-12, and are considering cuts to full-day kindergarten.

As parents, education workers and community members united, we call on the Ford government to ensure:

+ No increases to class sizes

+ No Mandatory E-Learning courses

+ Fair funding for public schools

+ Protection from privatization
