DESCRIPTION:Please click here to access the District General Meeting. \n  \nPer the District Constitution\, a District General Meeting will be held to approve the District budget. Having a District budget in place is the first and necessary step to establishing budgets for each of the Bargaining Units. \nThis Federation year our District General Meeting will take place on Thursday\, October 21\, 2021\, with a start time of 4:30 PM. \nVoting during the meeting will use Simply Vote\, an electronic voting platform via the Provincial OSSTF website\, which allows for the process of authenticating voters during a virtual meeting. Due to the advance preparation for online voting\, registration is required. \nRegistration is required for ALL members who wish to attend\, including those registered as TBU Council Representatives. \nRegistration deadline was Thurs. October 14th\, 2021 at 4:30 PM \nPlease note that each Bargaining Unit is allocated a specific number of delegates as per their FTE percentage of the District Membership. As such\, registration as a voting delegate is on a first come\, first serve basis. Those that have registered after exceeding our allotment of delegates may still attend the meeting as an observer. \nOn the morning of the meeting\, an email will be sent with the meeting link and electronic meeting package. \nQuestions may be directed to Rony Masri at rmasri@osstftoronto.ca
